AKAMOZHI VIZHIKAL

That night, the blind Deva spoke, “I am about to commit a murder. Will the Divine stand by me…?” Day and night continue their eternal dance, inseparable, as the vast universe journeys on. In their rhythmic passage of light and shadow, as they dissolve into the intoxication of time, the blind Deva remains untouched by the experience of light. Yet, through his music, he amasses a wealth of sensation. The joy of others becomes his only illumination. His musical gift paves the way for his friends and family’s sustenance, and one day, a light entered his world—Kalyani, his beloved, who too was blind. Kalyani, cherished by her mother and siblings, was the radiant beacon of their large family. As love blossomed between Deva and Kalyani, like a garden of jasmine, a cruel fate struck—Kalyani was savagely assaulted, her very life threatened, hanging by a fragile thread. With his heart shattered, Deva embarked on a relentless search, blind to both day and night, his eyes seeing only one thing: to hunt down those who dared threaten the life of his beloved.
